I see that, following a signal failure this morning at Holborn, the Piccadilly line is showing severe delays. Presumably it will be like this for the rest of the days as it's now part way through the evening rush hour. It was the same the other day following a signal failure. It doesn't seem to take much to mess the line up.
Passengers for the west of London aren't having much luck as the Central line also has severe delays / suspended due to an on-going person under a train at Stratford.
Incidently, if you use the journey planner to see how to get from Stratford to West Ruislip at present (17:40), you will be given this helpful advice:
Take the Jubilee Line towards Stanmore Underground Station or Jubilee Line towards Willesden Green Underground Station or Jubilee Line towards Wembley Park Underground Station

Central line one under delayed Greater Anglia passengers too, with up road metro trains non-stopping.

Picc's not doing very well this week! 10:40 "No service between Hyde Park Corner and Kings Cross due to emergency engineering work at Green Park. SEVERE DELAYS on the rest of the line while we fix a signal failure at Green Park."
I don't quite get get how WE are causing severe delays on the rest of the line while WE are fixing a signal failure at Green Park because nothing is going through Green Park to be delayed! I'd have thought the suspension would have been enough to shag the service!

Now followed by a one-under on the Central line and consequent suspension of the W&City "due to the closure of Bank station" This is a deja vu with the Picc and Cantral both being up the wall together the other day.
