I finally finished the frame notes - sorry for the length of time it took What was originally going to be a short note detailing the frame has turned into a set of notes regarding the operation of Morden depot from a shunters point of view in 1995. The notes are a little rough and could be improved on.
Because of the length of notes, I've saved them as a PDF which can be viewed or downloaded below:
The Carto Metro map shows the track layout of Morden depot, including point numbers For anybody who haasn't seen the map, whilst it can be viewed online, for general reference and extreme zoom, it's best to download the PDF version. Click on link.

NT WOW WOW thank you ever so much excellent I think you knew the Northern line inside out. Thanks for taking the trouble to do the notes.

Not sure why, are you opening the PDF online or downloading the PDF then opening it? I've just clicked on the PDF version and it's opening in Firefox very slowly, rather than ask if I want to save it.
If you've not downloaded it, right click on the PDF link on the CartoMetro page and do Save As (I've just added this note)
It's fine when I open the downloaded file.

Just got round to reading this excellent set of notes on the operation of Morden Depot, well done “Nortube”. Did Golders Green Depot have a shunters Ground Frame ? I don't think so. They had a panel, but I don't think that (originally, at least) that controlled any points.

NT WOW WOW thank you ever so much excellent I think you knew the Northern line inside out. Thanks for taking the trouble to do the notes. Not all of it inside out However, I enjoyed what I did and took a great interest in everything. I was a Driver road trainer (a driver taking new guards and new drivers road training, teaching them driving skills, route and line knowledge, etc.) and was one of the first course of Instructor Operators on the Northern line, a grade I kept until I took early retirement.
I was fortunate to get involved in many things and to meet some good and knowlegeable people who helped and encouraged me along the way.
So much has changed over the years, and progress has now made the driver's job very boring. Likewise training has lost a lot of the things which made it interesting for me. Drivers now longer need hardly any of the amount of knowledge they (and, to a lesser extent, guards) had to learn to pass out. This was especially so in train equipment where a full knowledge of the working of a 38 stock (and 59 / 62 stock which were very similar) was mandatory, as was dealing with defects. As a road trainer, I was always going over these sort of things when I had a trainee with me.
Driving trains is easy when you get the hang of it, but it takes a bit of skill to do it properly in all conditions. With the introduction of 95 stock, most of the skill was unecessary. Now, with automatic working, the driver, whilst still having to know a lot, does very little. I left just before the new sysytem came in, but I wouldn't have stood it for long. I would never have wanted an ATO job on the Victoria line for that reason. Signalling and their workings as I knew it has now disappeared as well. It's progress, but a more boring progress!

I have downloaded and the problem still exists. I have tried opening PDF's in both versions MSE and PDFC and all other documents works 100% there must be some other issue. I will have another go later and if successful let you know.

I've just downloaded the PDF again and tried it and it still opens OK as normal in Acrobat. Are you opening it on a PC or other device?
Have previous maps opened OK?
Do you have Acrobat Reader you can try it with? If it works in Acrobat, there might be a compatibilty probled with other PDF software, perhaps because of the size or complexity of the map (only guessing!). If you get nowhere, email Franklin and see if he has any suggestions.

I downloaded an earlier version 3.6 and it opens with no issues whatsoever.
