Welcome aboard, that interest of yours can be a little expensive going by some the the prices I have seen on line hope you get a good collection. When you say you only have a few how many is that?

Welcome to the group. It's very quiet these days, but people still look in and their may be other collectors around.

Whenever I hear the word Badgeman, I am always reminded of "Badgeman" - a Guard from the District line who used to sell all sorts of badges (hence the nickname).
Transferred as a Guard to the Northern line (I think when the District went OPO), he got a friend to take him off at CLapham Common SB while he went to sell some badges at a do on the common. He arranged to pick up the train when it arrived back NB.
Meanwhile, on arrival at Morden, a manager questioned the friend asking where the correct Guard was. It turned out that the friend wasn't even a member of staff! Badgeman was duly sacked.
{This happened in the 90's - I think that my memory is still correct}

I remember him used to see him at Baker Street canteen as well, he would go round cleaning the tables as well to keep the canteen staff happy. I think he was involved in another scandal as well.

Can you tell us more about the scandal ? I am sure you will know of other scandals so I won't go into detail but he took an unhealthy interest in certain things. There seemed to be a lot of it going on around the network at one time.
