Looks interesting I've had a very quick skim through. I think I'll have to print it off to read properly (luckily my printer can print double-sided and create A5 booklets (I'll divide it into 4) which will save ink and paper).
In 2004 LU brought out the Property Schedules and Plans documents which covered each line, with the bigger lines being split into two documents (e.g. Central line east, Central line west). Each document was divided into two parts - information and the overlays. The OS maps were approximately the same scale as used in the Deep Tube with the track overlay shown, the station area was shaded (including the infrastructure area covered by the station under ground - like what is shown in grey on the Deep Tube maps). LU / TfL(?) buildings were also highlighted and these included shops etc. - basically any 'property'. Specific buildings etc. were itemised. The other half of the document described each itemised area in detail as necessary. Presumably these documents were created as part of the PPP process to give exact information as to who was responsible for what in contracts etc.
The OS overlays are interesting and useful as a means of reference when following the route of a line. Whilst track paths are shown on Google Earth, they are only a rough guide and at times can be wildly inaccurate.
