I have just to access a number of sites but they all say the same server issues. Just wondering if the plug has been pulled as I saw something the other day where it was mentioned that they should pull them after someone put a film on youtube, anyone else having the same issues?

SilentUK has disappeared a couple(?) of years ago. I seem to remember reading that there may have been some court related action on the person(s) concerned when caught on one of their trips, although I don't know if they were instructed to remove the site or not.
If I find any particular part of a site like that that I like, then I download the whole article from the site (as pages in exactly the same way that they are shown online and can be opened later in a browser) in MHT format using the Save Page As in Firefox.
That way, at least I have it on hand any time that I want it, rather than relying on the site still being up.
I do notice that some sites seem to be no longer updated, although the original content is still there. Of course, things change over time and the site owner / contributors may no longer be interested in their hobby any longer, or are just keeping quiet about it.

I try to save so I can view at other times but it means I have quite a lot of connections. Dave, Sounds as though you mean browser tabs when you say connections. I'm not sure what you would call 'a lot' but I will have two or three browsers open on each of five or six PCs with anything up to fifty tabs open in each of those browsers. Of course it is not so good when the internet is in trouble as it has been for the last fortnight or so, particularly as my single connection is a nominal 3.2Mb with an average 2.4Mb download on a good day. The normal latency here is 75-80ms but recently there have been periods of several minutes at 2000ms-4000ms latency throughout the 24 hour day i.e. browser pages freeze. I have noticed this more recently when watching TV as it also uses the internet to provide certain on screen facilities. I am too busy these days to look at saved websites as I once did and I haven't really saved any but the most useful (to me) webpages for several years. If I am pointed to a website I will peruse it and then generally forget it unless it coincides with my current crop of researches or hobby interests in which case the browser tabs will remain open for a few more days. Of course with the evcer increasing pace of Windows 10 updates I have discovered that some browsers are not fit for purpose as they 'forget' the open tabs despite have set such browsers to start with all the previously open tabs. Both Edge and Firefox seem prone to this problem at present. Currently all browsers appear to have various issues and Chrome which was my preference until recently has been altered in ways which make it incompatible with many websites now.
