If/When the Queen dies will transport staff wear black armbands?
Are there already a stock of them for distribution just in case?
Can the information boards on the station be programmed to have a black box around the edge?

Whilst wearing black armbands is something that has generally died out (as indeed has wearing black at many funerals these days), I must admit I do like tradition and would like to see a mass black armband wearing in exceptional cases. I think this would be one of those. However, I think it should either be for one day (the funeral?) or just for the time between when the person dies and the funeral.
The later would be a bit hard to do as there wouldn't be time to instantly issue them.

Knowing the railway, it would be called a remberance armband or some other stupid name just incase they upset someone.

We did have an issue of black arm bands for some reason some years back? in memory of 7/7 possibly ?? I didn't get one as I wasn't working on the day in question but I recollect the spares were knocking about for a while.

When the King died :-)
I don't remember any armbands for 7/7, but I can't remember if I was on leave or not then.

Yes, I got a black armband but I can not remember why. Maybe queen mum.
I do have some 7/7 posters regarding winning the Olympic bid which were never shown. I wonder if stations still have poster plotters.

Station plotters still around and have recently been upgraded. I'm sure we got black armbands for 7/7.
