Out of interest are we going to go along like a lot of forums and have a meet?

I run and help run several forums including a serving police/HATO forum and a couple of car forums. The only forums that actually meet are the car forums. Although there is always talk of meeting on the other forums. Its a good idea and one that I would support.

I see on the signalbox and District Dave forums they have a meet and going by the response they go down well. Perhaps we could have a meet if there are enough and the location suits?

It's something I've been thinking about but I'd like to see a few more active members so as to make a meet more appealing.
For me it's a bit more than a few hours out as I live in Shropshire, in saying that if I come down South it'll be in the summer.

GJ I am like you I live many miles from London but if the location was right and like you I think it would have to be summer time to make it more attractive. So come on the rest of the forum let everyone know what you think.

I live only a few miles from the centre of London, but I still struggle to attend some things. Forward planning is not my forte However, I do think it's a good idea if enough people can be persuaded to turn up. I agree with GJ that it would be nice to have more active members for a met.

Okay so if you and GJ take control of this and we can see if it's possible.

I now live near Northolt central line tube. But have yet to use it to travel into London. Once a year, I do go to Edgware Road on the 7th July as survivors and families of those who died in the 7/7 bombing email me asking me to attend. But I dont do the Hyde Park function as that just seems political to me.
