What do the staff that work with 72ts and 73ts think of the recent decision that the latter is to be replaced first?
And, on a broader topic, of the news that additional 'clones' of 95ts be ordered, some 20-odd years after the first batch?

I always liked 73s, generally a reliable train. Be sad to see them go although I can understand a high profile line like the Picc to Heathrow wanting new toys to play with.
I've never driven a 72 but I'm reliably informed they are just a baby C stock and I'll miss those when they go.
