I thought the underground got rid of this type of signal? but I have been told they still have these in the depot?

I thought the underground got rid of this type of signal? but I have been told they still have these in the depot? Yes Stratford Market Depot has calling on signals, of the LED type, they are used only by depot shunting drivers who are Tubelines maintenance staff. London Underground train operators can not pass this type of signal in the off position, as this can lead to road that has a 4 car unit or 3 car unit stabled on it.

Thanks for that a strange one as I understand in other depots they just move the units but I suppose Stratford depot is different. Is there something similar in Neasden depot?
