From the web.....
Engineer's train 570 initially reported becoming uncoupled just east of Holland Park. It was soon revised to say that the rear bogie of the 4th wagon had become derailed, everyone aboard ok. The train was Batt loco - wagon - Tamper - wagon - Batt loco. RAIB attended and when I left at 0800hrs the investigation was ongoing although recovery had started.

And just to add to the confusion there's a 'Person On The Track' at Holborn which is LU speak for a One Under. POTT is no better than PUT as a POTT may not be under a train at all, it could be someone very much alive and in full control of his/her faculties. Most staff will know of one or more such incidents where POTTs were not staff and were very much alive, fit and well. One such incident I recall from the late 1970s was a gang of thieves who made off down the E/B H&C tunnel at Kings Cross with police in pursuit. I believe the thieves were apprehended at Farringdon as they tried to climb the walls to street level, after crossing the tracks to the CWL. One incident that astounded me was the chap who was found under the pozzi at Warren Street on the Victoria line, IIRC. This particular incident was shown on TV at the time and ISTR the man was wearing nothing above his waist so was extremely lucky to be both alive and not frazzled although he was of course covered in tunnel dust and at least one train had passed over him.
