Hello everyone... trying to make contact with some old mates from the Underground signal department at Earls Court. Some of the names I remember: Andy Dawes, Paul Norton, Richard (Dick) Shrove, Adam Hutton, Ivan Millard, Pete Shrosbury, Steve Burton, Tony Steer. We were apprentices 1971 - 1976 I think. Any info appreciated. .... getting nostalgic 60th in May 2015 !

The only name that I know is Tony Steer who was heavily involved in the Jubilee extension. Now has his own company as far as I know, if you google his name should bring something up.

Two names that I know are Tony Steer and Andy Dawes. Andy Dawes became a Materials Assistant, the last time I saw him was circa 1990 when I had a project meeting with him (can't recall if he was a project manager then) and the project engineer (Anna Hladkyj) for one of the Signals installation projects that I undertook as a Comms supervisor. I never worked with Tony Steer but ISTR he was on the Signalling Supervisor training course at South Woodford training school when I was there as a Comms Instructor in the early 1980s. AFAIK he was on Signal New Works until the great downsizing of LU engineering began, that's from circa 1989 onward when so many supervisors and managers began to take severance and seek remuneration as contractors on CLPT, JLE, NLPT

Tony Steer I knew as an apprentice when I was working in the Test Room at CSE Acton Town and a couple of the other names sound familiar too. I am still in touch with Andy Dawes, who presently holds a high position within Bombardier at Derby. He was the man who saved my sanity during my days at LT!
