Epping Signal Cabin & Locomotive L11
Open Day 18th May 2014
1100 – 1500
We are looking forward to as many people as possible attending the
Open Day on 18th May but we feel that the situation needs to be clarified.
The Signal Cabin has no Lever Frame in the operating room but does have the dismantled Frame from Hainault stored in the Relay Room. We are giving you the opportunity to have a look round the Cabin in order that the task ahead is clear and that we can recruit enough enthusiastic people to get the project up and running, it might look a bit daunting but it's not impossible with the right people in place.
L11 on the other hand is an easier project but it still needs a dedicated team to carry out protective maintenance, it's in the public eye and needs to be presentable both inside and outside.
Task force for a tidy up. We would like to have a bit of a clean before the Open Day and the 11th May was proposed, however, due to circumstances beyond our control that date has now been rescheduled for the 17th May. Can you come along and help for a couple of hours? If you can please email eppinsignalcabin@btinternet.com to let us know.
