Can anyone help with this, a question posed to me that I can't answer.
'South Woodford was a 35 lever N style power frame from new but some time before final closure the frame was altered to 11 levers and the other 2 sections removed and the well plated over. The remaining section of 11 levers was for the crossover east of the station. Do you know why? As this action is extremely unusual for a frame to be altered this way without a good reason. The removed sections do you know if they were used anywhere else'.

I suspect that because the remaining section was self-contained with the locking, the two sections were removed to become spare or temporary frames: Hounslow? Holborn? (not sure on that point, just dropping names out of the blue)
