NR report: A line-side fire is causing disruption near Acton Central. TfL report: No service Willesden Junction to Richmond due to a fire alert at Acton Central. When will TfL move to the real world and say it as it is..... you mustn't say 'fire' but 'severe smouldering' is OK. The cause, from LFB Twitter

Thats a fire, not a "fire alert" just a communal garden fire! But you can't say that because it sounds scary. Even if its true!

LFB update:
Firefighters helped escort around 200 train passengers to safety earlier this evening after high winds caused a tree to fall onto overhead power lines just outside Acton Central Station on the London Overground line.
The train’s path was blocked by the fallen power lines which caused a tree to catch alight. As well as putting out the fire, crews worked with British Transport Police and rail staff to assist the passengers off the train and escort them safely to the station. There were no injuries.
The Brigade was called at around 1800 and the firefighters left the scene at around 2000. One fire engine from Acton fire station attended the incident.
