Got my tickets booked for the last trip Amersham - Harrow on the 26th, in 353.
Anyone else going?

Are these things tickets in advance only? I seem to remember when they had the last of the 'proper' Steam on the Met that you just bought a ticket at one of the booking offices on the day and that was it - you just hopped on and off as you wanted rather than ride on a specific train.. I see that the A stock is back, together with the 38 stock at the Rickmansworth Festival: www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/events/vehicles-on-the-movealthough you buy tickets there as well as booking online.

I hear that Met No.1 went "kaput" today and won't appear for the rest of the event.

It seems a big end bearing failed on Met No. 1, lets hope they get it fixed soon.

It seems a big end bearing failed on Met No. 1, lets hope they get it fixed soon. Met 1 was moved from 46 west at Ruislip depot to be loaded on too a lorry and taken away but I'm told should be sorted for its run on the Epping Ongar on the 22nd
