I was always disappointed at the lack of exhibits at the Acton depot museum. There was so much interesting equipment hidden under tarpaulins or on shelves. If I'd still been living in London I'd no doubt have been a willing volunteer just as I would've been a volunteer at EOR. I used to work across the road from the depot and visited on all the open days when I wasn't working (but I used to work six and seven shifts a week). As I lived in North London it took me about the same amount of time to get to Epping as it did to Acton by road.

I've not been for about eight years or so now. I keep meaning to go, but never get around to it. The last time I went was with a friend and his young son. There were plenty of exhibits to see then, with various society etc. stalls and also childrens activities, including the miniature train ride and they both enjoyed it. Perhaps it's changed since then.

I went a few times, but it always seems much the same... Did look in photos to have more this year though.
