I've probably got 20 years left, maybe 25, if they can hold off till then I'd be grateful!

As driverless trains are an interesting discussion on their own, the driverless trains posts from here have been continued in a new thread on the Rolling Stock board. Feel free to continue discussing any matters relating to the Northern line TBTC in this Northern line TBTC area thread.

NMA 3 (Camden town super junction) was meant to come live this weekend: Saturday trial run (cheap testing with drivers rather than testers) and Sunday in passenger service from midday.
It has been postponed because they haven't got permission to go into revenue service. However, the trial run for the weekend will go ahead as planned.

I think it is planned for the Weekend of 22/23 March 2014. Morden to Oval, but things can change at the last minute with Thales.

Still planned. Tonight (well, actually the early hours of Saturday morning) should be the last time that a train is run to Morden under the old signalling. T106 arrives at Morden at 01:10, stabling in the depot at 01:19.

NMA5 (Oval to Morden) went into revenue service at 1500 on Sat March 22nd. The only manually driven section of the Northern Line left now is Chalk Farm to Edgware.
